An apprenticeship is an education and training programme with work experience that unlocks the great potential of young people and prepares them for their future careers by helping them to become ‘work ready’. Designed to help young people aged 16 to 24 who don’t yet have the appropriate skills or experience. We currently offer 3 types of apprenticeship listed to the right. For our apprenticeships, we are able to go above and beyond what other employers are capable of providing. We have a training facility based near to Hemel Hempstead, in which apprentices can improve their skills in a safe and segregated environment that feels like a real site. Apprentices can learn their skills here and build confidence before going out to their first construction site.
By educating and nurturing the young talent we believe we can overcome the forecast skills shortages and allow our apprentices to become the future of the Construction industry.
We are actively looking for apprentices to join our team, successful candidates will receive training on the latest state of the art simulators before being enrolled on the Trailblazer apprenticeship scheme – Construction plant operator Level 2.

Our construction plant operator apprenticeships provide an exciting opportunity for candidates to learn the skills required to begin a meaningful career path in the construction industry.
The 15 month apprenticeship scheme trains candidates on four pieces of equipment including: 360 Excavator, Ride on roller, Dumper/ADT and Telescopic Handler. Four very in demand skills within the industry, giving apprentices the opportunity to earn while they learn.
Approved for delivery in 2020 the apprenticeship standard for Construction plant equipment maintenance mechanic offers aspiring engineers an opportunity to learn one of the most in demand trades in the industry. Throughout the course of the 24 month apprenticeship candidates will be taught the skills required to service, repair and maintain heavy plant and equipment. On the job training experience given by our experienced team ensures that apprentices have the benefit of being able to “Earn while they Learn”
The role of the hire controller involves a wide range of activities, and is a very rewarding role for someone who is organised and methodical in their approach to work. Our level 2 apprenticeship for Hire controllers combines on the job learning with classroom based studies to give the candidate a well rounded introduction to the role.
